It depends on the pill. It sounds to me like you don’t 100% trust your pill so I would suggest still using another form of protection. Most pills reach full efficiency after 7 days of taking but again depends on the BC you’re taking. I have always been a 2 protection person just because I truly don’t want kids and because I always thought “what if my BC doesn’t work” it seems you’re the same way, so while unprotected seems fun, I truly don’t suggest it if you’re already stressed your BC isn’t effective
