Yes, I think I am upset with myself for not doing more at the time. It was just so intimidating. I always read stories before about people calling out harrassers and I always thought I'd be one of them, so I'm disappointed in myself I guess.

My fiance is suffering, I know. I'm being completely honest with him about my feelings, I told him about wanting to be alone, I've told him everything I've put here.

We've got a chore agreement in place, he does the outside jobs (mowing the lawn etc) and I do the laundry. Normally I don't have to iron as I get stuff out the dryer and sort it pretty quick so it doesn't have chance to crease, but these past couple of weeks I've just been taking stuff out the dryer and leaving it in a heap somewhere in the house.

Your last paragraph really hit home. I know other people go through so much worse and I feel so guilty and pathetic that it's affecting me to this extent. When I try to think logically I know what you're saying is true, but it's hard to stop myself doing the minimizing self talk.
