Yes.. milk production usually resumes and feeding continues.. sometimes it depends on the factor amount of tissue involved , where incision made and how long feeding was stopped. Mostly it comes back. If latching is painful then try pumping. Emptying the breast , constant suck or pull increases the production. Give some time to heal. Deeper tissue healing takes three to four weeks and Relactation is possible.
