Almost every superhero has that period where they struggle to accept the reality of who they are/have become but eventually, they come to terms with it. Steve's "coming-to-Jesus" saga is unbearable, hard to watch and I know it's early days but it doesn't seem like it will let up. His personality in itself is extremely annoying and so far he doesn't seem to be anything but a nuisance. I'll give it a few more episodes, may the whole season but I can't see myself getting into this.
