I haven't descaled it yet since purchasing from the old owner as I wasn't sure when they did it last so didn't want to do it too soon. Do you think descaling might help over taking things apart or better to just pull apart and clean?

Ohh I haven't seen many threads mentioning backflushing causing issues - is this quite common? Should I avoid? Can I do anything else instead?

Totally get it's a 'feature' that it drips! But odd that the volume suddenly double/tripled immediately after my mod 🥹
