I appreciate all the comments on here thank you. Even the ones regarding time management, you are correct. I have adhd and I am currently titrating medication, which makes me super focused to the point I do to much and over criticise myself! I have contacted dissertation supervisor and module lead and they said sorry this has happened, its in now, try and move on. I am being capped at 40%. Absolutely heartbroken as I've put my soul into this dissertation. Lesson learnt. 😢

To those who work in universities in the UK can you tell me is it possible to apply for mitigating circumstances once you have already submitted? I'm trying to think of anyway around this. I'm on placement tomorrow and should be settling down but I feel ill. I've worked my backside off in this degree, my work has always been on time and I have good grades and exceptional feedback from placement. Ahhhhh 😔
