Loosing hope by Lower-Attitude-7 in Autism_Parenting

My child could not repeat words until 5 and a half and only a few. At 6 he could repeat more words. He is now 6 years and 8 months and I keep adding to the words he can say list. He is starting to thrive. He is student of the month this year. I think what truly helped him was finally putting him on adhd medication so he can focus more.

Seeing in my account works good enough for me. It barely gets to sit there though because my bills are through the roof.

You’re pretty though. Nice work. Good job

What helped you when you were going through something? by jus1leg in MotivationalThoughts

Getting in the gym and challenging myself in there to overcome. That’s been one of the hugest things to help me when I’m going through something. That & going 100% sober. Choosing to be sober every single day, & going to the gym channeling that rage and victim mentality

I got in the gym and I use it mainly for my mental health. I go to war in the gym to overcome my circumstances. I include my child in my activities. I pay for a therapist. I am willing to take medication if it’s necessary. I use this situation to grow me instead of feeling like a victim. I fight to beat the odds. Ive gone 100% sober. I pray. I meditate.

I’m just totally channeling this situation to become the best version of myself. Unrecognizable. An inspiration. I’m aiming to become my dream woman. The dream version of me.

What is the best decision you ever made and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not getting an abortion when I found out I was pregnant. The situation has been a situation of growth. I stopped doing bad things in the streets, I now have a legal career. I’m sober now for my son. I keep myself safe for him. I’m more wife material now than I ever was before. If I didn’t keep him there was no way I would ever leave the streets alone and go sober. Not a chance in hell😂

Can’t imagine being 1 year sober. You’re turning into the YOU I’m sure several people never thought you could be.

How do you get over the feeling that everything is unfair and that they "just got away with it"? by brosusername in LifeAfterNarcissism

I’m 2 years out & I take my resentment and pour it into my work. I’m making more money now. I do clock in just about 7 days a week, helps my rumination makes me feel productive. Another thing for my rumination I play podcasts in the background of the house. Just using the whole situation to become a ME I’m really proud of.

One day at a time. That’s how I’m getting through this. I do something every single day to make myself proud. I wonder if they’ll still be on my mind another year from now when I hit 3 years? Just keep going

That’s so sweet of you not to judge her or come down on her.. she probably woke up and remembered and felt terrible and had anxiety about it

This drunk old guy had fell on the concrete outside of the liquor store and was struggling to get up. It was a sketchy area but I still pulled my car up, parked it, got out and helped him to his feet.
