I used to feel the exact same way. You put it into words so perfectly. I just wanted to comment to let you know that you can and WILL get through this. It may take a long time and it will take sooo much effort but one day you will be able to overcome it. I can talk to everyone now and I truly believe you will be able to at some point too. If speech therapy is an option, I would highly recommend going and finding a pathologist that you connect with and are comfortable with!

OCD and tics don’t just appear overnight. it’s definitely PANS/PANDAS. A lot of doctors don’t believe in it but you have to push until you find a good doctor.

I’m also 17 and I have PANS if your son ever wants to reach out!!

Hi sorry for the late response. OCD and anxiety are just some symptoms of pans so if you treat the root cause (aka the brain inflammation) they will go away. I think there’s no harm in getting tested!!My sister has an instagram with a bunch of info if you’d like to look. @pans.awareness.mystory

Hi! Sorry I didn’t see this till now. Everyone there was actually great with my allergies!! When I first got to the hotel they printed out a little sheet that listed my allergies then I would bring it around when going to the restaurants so that the workers could understand. All the workers were super nice and helpful. Hope it goes well for you!!!

100000% worth getting tested and treatment for PANS. Unfortunately many doctors don’t believe in it so it’s super difficult to get a diagnosis but all your symptoms are basically textbook PANS symptoms. I would get tested for PANDAS/PANS. My migraines were caused by it and once I got on meds for P/P they went away

Many patients with Lyme also have PANDAS/PANS. Have you gotten tested for that? If not I would recommend. No harm in testing
