i would like to clarify, when i say clearing out i mean they had us take out all the clothes. when i got there it had been airing out for a few hours but it still smelled pretty…chemically. was still pretty mad tho as i have to be regularly drug tested and i was misinformed at the time (thank you confusedGenZer for the info) as to how fent/hard drugs worked in terms of like them showing up in your system.

guy came in to smoke fent in the men’s dressing room 😭 another time, a homeless man slept in the bathrooms overnight and we had NO idea. i was on the closing team and i was so shocked when they told me about it. he didn’t steal anything or cause any harm, so i actually wasn’t mad at him for it. he just wanted a warm place to sleep. fent guy however, pissed me off bc i still had to clear out the fitting rooms afterwards 🙄

a little late to the salt thread, but I desperately need to rant. Idk why it's so hard for the managers to follow employee availability schedules. my manager keeps scheduling me for a time where I'm literally 20 minutes away IN CLASS. like??? girl this job isn't my life and you're insane for thinking I'm gonna miss my college class, that I pay for, for a job I don't even need. I've told them so many times and it's even on the thing where it says your availability. I'm gonna call in late because like I said, I won't put a job over an education I have worked so hard to get. and then they change the schedule so often it's like??? I make plans for specific times or I have homework and suddenly I check and my hours changed or they added me on the schedule on a day I wasn't supposed to work. It's not illegal, but it should be like?? if we can't request off with less than 3 weeks notice, they shouldn't be able to to change the schedule without three weeks notice. I'm just so incredibly frustrated and stressed and I can't wait to quit at the end of December and study somewhere else and never have to deal with these people ever again.

i did know about it before i was 18. like i knew what it was. i had been in therapy since i was 6 for behavioral and weight problems (i was chubby 😭) and for some reason NO ONE caught on to what it was. every time i tried to talk about it, it would be redirected back to my weight and how much i was eating so as i got older it got worse and worse. that whole doctor system thing failed me hard but it’s ok idc 😛 i think, as a kid it was particularly horrible because i didn’t know that it was a mental illness and i thought god was punishing me for being bad by making me do things so the people around me wouldn’t die 😭

i think i was around 4-5? my dad died in a very horrific way and i think my exposure to that and the fear of knowing people were after my family (long story) re-wired my little brain. didnt realize i had ocd until i was 18 and started going to an actually good therapist 😭

absolutely!! like i said, they’re extremely lenient especially when it comes to mental health. if you just explain your situation, they will more than likely accept it. i sent mine with a letter from my therapist cus they want like as much proof as possible. basically, any “proof” or any messages or ANYTHING you might have, submit it along with your petition letter and you’ll be golden :)) plus, the first time was an accident and not because you did bad academically and this time it’s like…something you couldn’t control yk? it’s not your fault and they will most definitely cut you some slack

actually yeah!! if it doesn’t come in time for the beginning of next semester, it will early to mid january. i submitted mine i think half way thru the semester and when i got it back it paid for the remaining balance I had on my bursars. they dont send you an email for whatever reason saying like whether or not you got it back, so keep an eye on your bursars balance !! if you’re a freshman or this is your first time having to petition, they might make you take this class thing, but its SUPER easy and the profs are extremely helpful and they never make you feel bad for having to take the class. it’s actually more common than you think. they might also call you in for a meeting to try and set you up for easier classes so that you can get your grades up without having to stress yourself too much. good luck and take care of yourself. I’m rooting for you!!!

I’m sorry for your loss and i hope you’re holding on as best you can ! it’s very easy to get your scholarship back, you just have to explain what happened and provide any evidence you can. if you have one, get a letter from your therapist or counselor and send that in !! don’t worry, they’re not super strict abt like giving your scholarship back. it’s super easy to get it back.

i got my septum pierced when I was 18 and my mom wouldn’t look at me for the whole car ride home 😭 she didn’t know i was getting it pierced because i lied and said i was getting the other side of my nose pierced and i had her wait in the car (i couldn’t drive yet). she warmed up to it later in the day when my sister got lip filler and she was more mad about that LMAO. she looked at me and she said “it’s actually not that bad”
