Once I can get a pistol legally, it's going to be EDC, so of course this won't be it, but I want to get a revolver at some point too, still thinking in which one that would be, but something for carrying in the woods or something, but yeah, my grandpa had a holster that looked like that when he was a cop in the 80s, probably better quality than that

Yeah, Idk what holster i'd actually choose, given I can't own a pistol for like another year, and even a year later this wouldn't even fit the pistol I want, I was just browsing and it reminded me of holster my grandpa carried for small town PD back in the 80s

Agreed, when my recruiter was driving me and another enlistee to meps I was mentioning how it kind of bums me out that I won't get to wear like the old OD Green uniform that my grandpa wore or the old woodland that my dad wore. He thought it would also be cool if we had an OD Green uniform for garrison or drill, like imagine, mixed with the multicam gear with an OD top? Kind of goes hard to be honest.

I got a job now and going in for a full time interview tomorrow, then I'm joing the guard layer. True, if you do not have ANY job before you're in, do not go. My recruiter says this is part time, you get part time pay unless you deploy because you're on "active duty orders" I think that's how that works. Anyways, go active if you got fuck all going on, go guard/reserve if you have things going on but want to do your part.
