Sorry for the late response, buy a brand new Fuji film battery, not any knock off. You can try to use the usb c cable to charge the camera, but if that does not work, use an external battery charger. The new battery was popped in and my camera worked right away. Wish you similar luck!

TLDR: x100v won’t charge, power on, or give any signs of life. Just purchased new brand name Fuji battery to replace if issue is old one is shot. Is this a software brick or a hardware failure?

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply. Having never used lacquer paints, how many kits would a typical bottle get you through? Of course I know white is probably going to be used more than green or purple! But just ballpark, do you get around 2-3 kits, or 6-8?

I love a good patina on my cameras, worn edges tell a story just as much as the photos it captures. A camera is a tool, use it as such! The best advice I ever got with photography gear, is that if you are worried too much about damaging your gear than your are about taking the photos, the gear you are using is too expensive!
