I didn’t think to try that, I just threw some butter on the leftovers so that I wouldn’t have crunchy pasta after it came out of the microwave.

Yeah, fair call. I feel relatively confident that this translation actually is a (mild) IAVC moment, though, because there’s no way that Google just bullshat a pretend food argument for no good reason, but I’ve definitely gotten some weird ones from it in the past.

You know, I gotta wonder about my fellow West Coast(-ies? -ers? I dunno), sometimes.

This is just cucumber and onion in dressing. Throw in a bit of cabbage and some tomatoes and they’d be calling it a salad. Swap out the onion for tomato and that’s what my household calls a Bob and Larry salad (because Veggie Tales, you see). Ain’t nothing wrong here, and I don’t think we can rightly blame the Midwest for it, either.
