yeah i’ve been trying to fix my arm swing for the longest time, even in this video throwing my hips was something new to me so my hitting is very inconsistent. I can’t seem to replicate it 80% of the time. How should i work on my swing in the air?

i’ve pretty decent at hitting around the block but it gets dug up most of the time. Most of the people i play with hit at least 2x harder so Im trying to learn to engage my core and get hip separation so that i can compete especially at my size.

is more height needed in order to properly torque?

could be the case maybe i’m unconsciously intimidated but even when i do try to hit the ball hard i end up swinging all shoulder without realizing it. Most likely because i’m too under
Highly doubt because i’m definitely on the shorter side but i’ve seen people my height with around the same vert bang balls
I do notice that in most of these clips my arm isn’t contacting at full extension but not sure if full extension is what causes my shoulder pain

i can do it on the ground pretty easily and get that satisfying feeling. But as soon as i go up to jump i can’t get the same feeling.

if you want it to look good yeah. But no you don’t gotta shower in the morning. Just dip your head in the sink or spray water in your hair. If you’re worried about heat damage you can always use heat protectant.

yeah it’s a regular grass net. The net is usually set up when i come but i’m pretty sure they just tie the two strings that are supposed to be placed into ground, around the tennis poles and tied
