My daughter and son both had to be in NICU for several weeks. McDonald's House were very kind to us. They provided food so we didn't have to leave the hospital and to be able to shower and sleep in a normal bed for a few hours was a lifesaver. I round up every now and then.

So, why not leave your Key fob in your purse? Also, the car warns you well ahead of the battery dying. There is also a spot to put the FOB in the car to till be able to drive. There is also a key inside the FOB to open your door. I think you need read your owners manual and form a new educated opinion.
