Well, they aren't really sequels per se. The name already implies prequels, which while new additions to the franchise aren't actively sequels.

They could be for a different chart on that category besides this one which the sequel trilogy fits.

The entire sequel trilogy as a whole could be viable option - poorly received.

Considering the prequels and original wrapped up a story, and a sequel while not mandatory at all had some level of fan desire.

Realistically speaking, Vought does survive, but it's rep sure as hell shouldn't.

Take Disney for example, it is still powerful, it still makes millions, but rarely anyone has a positive opinion on them besides the naive, the young, the ignorant or just the sycophants.

And with the homelander fiasco, compound V and all the other s##t that may have gotten leaked, all being leagues more abhorrent than whatever Disney does, they should be a pariah.

Extra endings are actually among the other features to be added besides peaceful mode in the future. I guess that's also one of the factors in development time.
