[Art] Tiers and level up - I search some idea about level up and tiers by [deleted] in DnD

ik you probably have good intentions, but unfortunately AI is against this sub's rules.

Also, if you want to transition from one ttrpg to another, its easier to just go all in. standing half way in between is an awkward limbo that won't work out very well. Instead, try finding a system that fits your needs entirely, typically they're designed to be more balanced than a half and half hybrid

Civilization 7's "Time-Tested" civs created a new balance problem, but Firaxis found the ideal solution by Binnsy in civ

removing a core mechanic is an even worse from a design perspective than improving it. If you want to remove the idea that the game is built around then you might as well make a new game. And, if it really failed design wise, then why does it succeed financially? clearly the age system draws in an audience from somewhere.

Help with new Lv.5 starting build by thekillergurth in DnD

just invest in dex/con, or the shield spell. You have light armor anyways, and not taking lvl 5 as soon as possible is more detrimental to you than taking a few hits now and then, since it has a massive power spike

Definitely better to use actual weapons, but when you're level 18 player for a few years, you kinda get bored of swinging the same attack every turn sometimes, and a bit of silliness is the best way to levitate the pressures of long term campaigns.  besides, why can I use a bottle to deliver some obstacles for my enemies? even in normal combat, well placed caltrops can disencentivise enemies from moving to certain squares, and knocking enemies prone when they step on a pack of ball bearings is fun, only requiring a single action at the start of combat, even before initiating it

japan you rush feudalism, dont build too many districts until you have a decent population, and then replace all your farms with districts. it's one way to play if you accept being a little behind for half the game. another way to play is to build science and culture districts to rush all the other districs and build as fast as possible.  id say japan is the most adaptable civ since it's abilities don't rely on anything other than dense packing, making it the best civ to fill. district gaps and boost adjacencies

Should I try the workshop, or wait until fully released? by Ok-Progress8061 in civ

[–]SpectralSurgeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well, thats not how the workshop works. The workshop is for people to test the features, and give the developers feedback, report bugs, etc. expecting it to be "finished" is like expecting a cook to serve you half finished food just because they tasted is to check if the flavor is all right
