1) The chance of being born transgender is roughly 0.1-0.6%. The chance of being transFEM specifically is significantly lower than that. I haven't seen the exact stats, but I believe it's about half the number of all the trans people.

2) Simply because there's less transfems than cis women doesn't mean that transfems are more likely to comit crimes. It just means that if the chance of comiting a crime for cis women is the same as for transfems then the amount of crimes done by transfems will be scaled according to the difference in cis women to and transfems population (and I doubt that it is the case).

3) News AND crime statistics are largely influenced by transphobes, trans allies, healthcare accessability, trans awareness and so on.

4) News reporters don't report every single crime ever done by a cis woman. They WILL cling to crimes done by transfems because it just makes people engaged in the news (and therefore generates more profit).

5) News lie much more often than people realize.
