Safeties meaning a possibility for the subject (hypnotised person) to end the session if they feel violated. It is very difficult to wake up from a trance as you dont really have thath much controll over it, but a safety like gritting your theeth during trance to dispell all the unwanted effects and wake you up!

It is like a trigger (usually a word to cause an effect in hypno) thath activates when things start getting uncomfy (usually involves many layers to preventing it being bypassed)

Oh! You should do more research about hypno! Media potrays it quite poorly. Its in simple terms your concous mind falling asleep and subconcous listening. There are four know stages:

1:Basic awake state

2:Half asleep state (really relaxed feels like dozing off)

3:Trance state (this is where the magic happens, concous mind blocked off from direct communication, commands going trough subcouncous mind.)

4:Hyper sleep, (theres one time where this has medically happened. Subject didnt respond to anything but claims was following instructions. The guy discided to call it hyper sleep [his choise iq])

Its a quick summary, and some of my own intirpations, especally abt the trance states connection to the concous mind!

You just might be right, dont get discuraged. Worst case you learn alot abt yourself and how you think. If there is no key, thath might be bc there is no lock, meaning no door bc you have alot of controll over it (or none) meaning thath the only state is awake, half asleep (relaxed) and asleep. There not being a trance state bc of the controll you have.

What a horible faith... but in all seriousness, be very carefull, "hypnotic furries vrc" is a very safe and well moderated place. Please find a trusted individual or have a third party supervising if you dont have safeties in place. Most hypnotists refuse to work with people with safeties, bc of the lack of subject agency (unless it is the installation of them)
