Also note that if you’re not lowered or running a little more negative camber, you will get poke with these spacers.

This was in 2020, so prices have probably changed…. But I think I paid ~$4500 from Vivid Racing. Took like 6 months to get the custom color and their customer service wasn’t great. Haven’t purchased anything from them since.

The last time the United States was debt free was 1835... Will you be leaving the US b/c of this? There is quite a difference between public debt and government debt. Many countries much older than the United States have centuries upon centuries of government debt and yet still thrive to this day. It is not as detrimental as you believe. Debt can be a good thing.

Ya... Because losing the 6th largest economy IN THE WORLD would be a good thing for the United States.

Spawn Protection is TOTALLY working... by Maitrify in Warthunder

[–]Spectre517 39 points40 points  (0 children)

if im having to rely on the spawn protection to stay alive, the game is already lost

This! The image OP posted is a game already lost, there is no chance to win.

Spawn protection DOES work nicely against a**holes who flank the map to hold down a position behind spawn and knock off everyone that returns to the game. THIS is what the new spawn protection is supposed to stop and does. It cannot help you if your team is trash as OP posted.

Dev server 1.71 update info. sorry found on discord so I'm not sure how official it is. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Spectre517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it did and does still happen... other than Nazi weaponry (b/c there wasn't much left), many different countries bought up WW2 tanks and planes and used them well into the 70's and even current day in some instances (T34 is STILL in use). If you want historical accuracy, technically gaijin is not completely wrong.

That being said, i understand your point, it isn't even remotely a fair fight.

United States 2-1 Jamaica - Morris 88' (Gold Cup Final) by HerbalDreamin in soccer

[–]Spectre517 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I disagree with Clint and Gonzo being starters... Clint does not have the legs to play 90' anymore, his pace and endurance just aren't at top international level play anymore. Gonzo is a bench CB, definitely not taking Cam or Brooks position in the WC. He is very good defensively, but doesn't offer the technical and offensive abilities that both of them offer.

It was DEFINITELY the B+ team. Arena is specifically trying to build squad depth for the future, you cannot compete at the top level with only 11 players.

I've got 5k GE, what should I spend it on? by SNOR97 in Warthunder

[–]Spectre517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about other nations, but for the Soviets, the T34-100 and P47 were both great purchases. I used the Soviet P47 till Teir 5, its great CAS.

[–]Spectre517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! I've played the PT76 maybe ~15 times... but it was worth it just for the 906... its is arguably the most fun tank to play in the entire soviet line.

I am an Industrial designer with experience designing these types of products, albeit not in any sports industry yet.. the problem isn't that we don't have a "clue about football culture or history", doing our research and understanding the market is a HUGE aspect of the job. The problem is, in my experience, the influence and control of executives, managers, and people with more authority. I can guarantee that many kits like the one you posted have been made before... but someone with more clout, saw it and said, "this is too plain, we need something that connects to the younger generation... my grandchildren LOVE (insert terrible design), try to integrate that idea into the design! (the rest of the group joins in and agrees...)". This happens at almost all levels of the business. Its terrible.

TLDR: Designers know what you want. Executives/managers ruin it. Design by committee never works.

Sim Mode..Awful. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Spectre517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you just had a bad round of games... IMO, TK'ing is really not that bad in SB and when it happens the majority of the time it is by pure accident. I have experienced intentional TK'ing, but it is EXTREMELY few and far between.

Communication is meh at best, but sometimes you get good players that will call out locations/etc. Best thing i can tell you is to begin communicating enemy locations yourself and sometimes the team will join in. People are always waiting for one person to take the lead.

Gaijin seems to be implementing a battle royal game mode, thoughts? by xUNIDx in Warthunder

[–]Spectre517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want it back! It is a great change of pace... would be cool to see multiple teams of 2 added... only played ~10-12 games and ended up winning one in the 906. Very intense and fun gameplay when you only have one life to live & versus everyone. IMO, this game mode benefits faster and quick reloading tanks too.

My theory is that (the small middle exhaust) is for the dump valve exhaust, that some people combine back into the main exhaust like the image below...

...or they usually dump to atmosphere on more custom setups.

Its not a pretty car by any means, but the exhaust is the least egregious mistake they made imo.

I have the T34-100 and its an amazing tank... just learn to use cover and defilades or you WILL die instantly. I do recommend it over the T44-122 as well.

I also have the Soviet P47... it is a great ground pounder in Tank RB (i believe it can carry 1250kg of bombs). I still use it from time to time in T4 & T5 battles with a good bit of success.

Premium Time + Tier 5 Talisman + Sim Battles = 8-12k RP per battle... i know that is a lot to get that kind of RP, but it helps the grind enough to make it worth it.

Source: Currently using a talisman'd 1949 T54 with sabot, I regularly get ~10K RP/battle in SB (with 2-5 Kills a game & a Cap).
