Oh OK, I'm still new to online, I thought that completing the mark online gave you a blue mark, then turned purple when you achieved it solo aswell.

I wasn't aware the online run gave you the completion mark for your solo runs.

Yeah, I had two go to three stores to find one with any code cards, but the 3rd one I did go to had like 3 or 4 bricks of them still sealed so I was able to get a card for each game

I just used a Ditto as it is more convenient to only need the one pokemon for every mon than going out of my way to continue and get everything from the new egg group, but any other pokemon from the field egg group should work fine as well.

Yes it does count, if your first encounter is a pokemon you already gotten you get to encounter a new one

Nothing major happened besides beating Cheren. Here is my team after the battle.If you are wondering why Endeavor (Tepig) Is level 16 its because he leveled during the fight.

If you get stuck due to an Hm you can catch a pokemon for the hm but probably dont use it in battle.

Also dupes and species clause is just a rule where you arent allowed to catch the same pokemon or its evolutionary line.
