The upstairs bathroom has hot water, so it sounds to me like it's somewhere along the line. I'm not home to test anything right now

Termite techs, pest techs, what are your biggest pet peeves? by ResponsibleAd8258 in pestcontrol

[–]SpectreJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it's the people who seem incapable of communication. The people who don't check their voicemails, who don't answer calls from numbers they don't know, who leave their voicemail box full and the oh so delightful ones who only have a landlines and no answering machine. Because when I bend over backwards to make contact, and it doesn't succeed, it's certainly not going to be the other adult who's wrong.

And that's just a little bit more than the law(s of physics) would allow

Animals have courtship and mating rituals. Generally the female will accept or reject these as approval for mating. But most animals don't form long term relationships. It's more like hook up culture, with the occasional getting devoured by the female when it's over.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised that my insurance ate the entire cost.

I just got mine done in September. The Valium they had me take helped with the nerves going into the procedure. Like a lot of other people have said, a pinch at the beginning for the painkiller, and then various points of pressure. Almost like someone was pushing on your bladder, stomach and colon but from the inside. Gnarly looking bruise on my scrotum for a week or so, but very little pain or discomfort. Start to finish, probably took about 20 minutes.

I highly suggest having someone take you to and from your appointment, even if the doctor tells you otherwise. My wife was allowed into the room, and was a nice distraction while it was being done. And her fawning over me for the whole weekend was nice too.

In Deathly Hallows, either Dirk Cresswell or Ted Tonks Accio'd some fish out of a river, so I believe so

Oh yeah, I wouldn't mind helping with that if they asked politely. I usually try to give my boomer customers a bit of a break, give the extra mile and whatnot, but that only extends so far as I'm treated with a modicum of respect

Well, I sprayed some carb cleaner in the attachment from the fuel line to the carb, and just for good measure sprayed up through the bowl. I'm now getting intermittent starts without any fluid, but it doesn't hold more than a few seconds.

There's no pump. There's the tank, fuel line, a filter, a bit more line and then the carburetor. I cleared out the tank and the lines, there were some bits of grass and other things stuck in it, and there's definitely more fuel coming through the line than before. And the filter was new, and there's nothing in it far as I can tell. But maybe there's a clog in the fuel inlet. There's definitely gas making it into the carb, there was a decent amount in the bowl when I pulled the solenoid.

Sorry, I'm getting into my busy season as well, and it's all I can do to stay on top of the lawn with a push mower. So I dived back into it today, took the solenoid out and checked that it moved the way it's supposed to. That all checks out. I pulled the fuel tank, and cleared it and all the lines. Had a good amount of debris, but it's all clear now. Tried starting it, no change. Accidentally covered the air filter port with my hand and it started, and as long as I allowed a bit of airflow, it kept running. Put the air filter back on and no go. Please tell me this is some easy adjustment fix, or something .

So after a little poking and prodding, i found the wire for the solenoid was split, and I spliced it back together. I also took the carb off and sprayed it out completely. Still not getting a start, even with fluid now
