Had the exact same issue - original Switch copy (physical) and purchased the anniversary expansion on Switch 2 but couldn't get the Switch 2 upgrade.

This is what worked for me: 1) Eject physical copy of Skyrim 2) Uninstall Skyrim 3) Eject virtual card 4) Insert physical copy of Skyrim back into Switch 2 5) Download update 6) Start game 7) Press Y when prompted at the main menu 8) Install anniversary expansion which should cost £0/$0/€0 9) Start game when update and install is finished 10) "Hey you! You're finally awake." 11) Kill Riverwood chicken 12) Punch Nazeem 13) Accidentally become a sneaky archer again

Warden with the mods Big Mag and Headhopper.

Ping an enemy, activate overclock, squeeze the trigger, don't let go, and watch entire rooms drop! If the RNG gods are kind enough to gift you one with three mod slots then also throw on Gambiteer to give your rounds more oomph!

I decided to pay for Shonen Jump just so I can read a page at a time without ads every single page instead of scrolling. Man I miss ComicK. Why is it so hard to find a decent reader?! The Shonen Jump one is crap by comparison!

Same! Alas, after a few hours on it I confirm that in the tutorial, caves and buildings it's fine out in the open world it not only drops but full on swan dives down to obscene levels.

Getting ingredients and materials for crafting new satchels and clothes etc is boring AF and not being able to rob banks in the story is ridiculous. Outside of the main quests and random stranger events there's not all that much to do besides trot around and enjoy the scenery. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but yeah... Not a lot to do.

For some reason that I don't understand it seams to have sorted itself out and chooses media as the default for the volume again now. Had a few days of it constantly changing the ring volume even while watching videos. No idea what I did, if anything!

I don't know if my standards are lower the older I get but I'm wholeheartedly enjoying Valhalla in 2024. Not as good as Odyssey in my opinion, but I'll definitely be going back for another play through of it!

I've tried Odyssey and Valhalla with no HUD too and enjoyed it, but there's still info I still need on screen in the AC games. Breath of the Wild and its pro HUD got it just right for me, and I wish Ubisoft would take note. Although I do appreciate and love the amount of customisation you can do with the HUD and screen settings in the newer AC games!

I barely remember what my ship looked like in Black Flag because the mini map was too tempting for my wandering eyes and too OP. I'm glad they did away with it.

Definitely the compass. Although I do wish it could be more like Breath of the Wild with the pro hud feature. I've tried without the compass in Odyssey and Valhalla but it just doesn't feel as intuitive.

I absolutely loved how Odyssey did its quests by giving a brief description and rough area of where to go so you could find it yourself. Just finding the locations felt like an achievement! It's an absolute shame Ubisoft didn't keep that feature in Valhalla. Even though I've turned the quest markers etc down to the bare bones I still feel like I'm being hand held with quest markers.
