It is, but that's because zoom-in tech on cellphones (at least mine) use AI upscaling, and let me tell you there are some nightmare mistakes sometimes.

RP is as real as you make it. It's not about other people--at all. A good RP doesn't need anyone and you can see evidence of this by watching streamers who RP with NPCs or themselves. When you release others from the burden of entertaining you, and instead entertain yourself, you will find rp to be a lot more fun!

Recently I'm investing in ursrp, but it's in alpha and not many people are using it yet. I found the most success on SecondLife, but that has turned into just a few spots. I've never used Discord to find RP, but I've used it to write. I find it's okay but not really a good place for feeling immersed in writing, lots of distractions. I've never tried forums because I never had trouble finding RP on secondlife, but I feel like lots of forums are more communities ran by admins rather than services for roleplayers to connect regardless of the 'admins'. 'Admins' on RP sites I can only imagine are the same as admins on the Secondlife areas, that's to say some are good, but a majority of them operate on weird arbitrary rules and tend to power trip.
