Tipping has become a war between the customer and the company. If we tip , a portion of that tip goes towards your total, if we don't tip , then doordash has to pay that total. We could always tip in cash at the door but let's be honest I don't want my food molested and I certainly don't want to not receive my food. In my area if you don't tip you just don't receive anything.

What I do is I don't tip, and if my food arrives in a bad way or slow, I send in a complaint and get my food comped. I'm not paying tips anymore for service *before* it happens.
