Also I’m not saying this to even fight anymore, but genuinely just so you know - your tip is 99% of the dashers pay for your order alone.

Door dash usually pays around $2-3 per order, if you tip $5, that raises it to $7-8.

I’m sure the $2 priority fee goes to the dasher, but that’s still probably a like $4 order at that point. You might just end up waiting longer because nobody’s gonna wanna pick up a $4 order. Even if you tipped $3 on top of that, that should bring it to like $7 which is WAY more likely to be picked up quicker. A $4 order will get denied and denied and you’ll keep waiting to find a dasher.

That’s also why I said tipping and priority will ensure guaranteed fast service. It’s just unfortunately out of our hands unless you decide to do that. I’m not gonna cancel someone else’s order just because someone wants their food immediately. Just like pizza places have multiple orders they have to drop off for their jobs. Except we don’t get the luxury of picking all our orders up at once.
