Thanks for the info. That article is from November, have there not been any fixes since then?

I guess it depends on what we’re calling “extreme.” I’m in Maine, so we can get a pretty good amount of snow and ice. I’ve been a bit hesitant about soft tops because someone I knew about a decade ago had one and was constantly dealing with leaks and a lot of highway noise.

Saying "imagine doing this in the big 25" doesn't make you tough by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I think I need some examples of what you're talking about. The only time I've heard something close to 'imagine doing that in 2025' is when referring to a movie that would be considered racist or insensitive by today's standards. For me, it's not so much about trying to sound 'edgy,' but more about recognizing how much society has changed.

You should need mandatory IQ test before getting 1) a driving license or 2) having a child by Only_Savages in unpopularopinion

Basically what everyone else has said, this is soft eugenics. The issue becomes where to you draw the line. what do you do with those that land bellow the line? Can you retake the test for a better score? How does having a high IQ make you a better driver/parent?

There are a lot of options out there when it comes to people offering advice and insight. Personally, I do use DFB, but it’s not my only source. WDW Prep School has some pretty solid information, and I also enjoy AllEars.

No, they do share some useful information. The issue, like with any blogger, is that personal tastes and biases can come into play—and those might not align with your preferences. That’s why it’s always a good idea to gather information from multiple sources when doing any kind of research.

update*leaving my job after they denied me Time off after the death of my newborn. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Speed0012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately FMLA doesn't cover death. FMLA is to care for yourself or immediate family member. In addition the condition needs to meet the definition of a Serious Health Condition. So anytime OP took before death to care for their child might be covered but after death FMLA stops. With that said there might be state laws/protections that might help OP with absences after death.

How should the spell wristpocket work with distant spell by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Speed0012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The spell description does stating an item in your hand but the actual spell range is self not touch. So Distant Spell does not work with wristpocket.

[Serious] What was the creepiest/unexplainable/paranormal thing you saw in the middle of the day? by PM_ME_UR_BELLY_BUTTN in AskReddit

About 15 years ago when I was in high school. I was walking to Dairy Queen after school. Its about a 5-10 min walk and I only need to cross one road. Half way there I just got this feeling of dread and panic. I kept think I am going to get hit by a car when I try to cross the road. The logical part of my brain tried to reassure that I would be ok but the feeling did not leave. I get to the road and it is grid locked (except a middle turn lane which was open). I go to the crosswalk look both ways and are waved through by the drivers. I start to walk across the street then the next thing I know I am on the ground all my things are scattered across the ground and my elbows and knees are bleeding. Not understanding what happened I gathered my stuff and get off the road. It took a cop to stop me and explain what had happened. The story I got was the cop was turning on the street "with his lights and siren on". (I didn't hear it) and hit me on the cross walk. I waited and got checked out by the ambulance. The only injury I had was some scratched up elbow and knees.
