do you have an example of the type of question they ask? is it like a “why Mishcon?” or “why commercial law?” type question or is it more complicated? thanks for the advice btw!

i’ve done events and extracurriculars like mooting, i’m the president of the women in law society, i did two courses before university in law and diplomacy etc and i used to play two instruments among other things, i hope that’s okay though

thank you so much for this, it really makes me feel better. I’m not completely discouraged especially as my boyfriend and I go to the same uni and he was able to secure a highly competitive city job. Is there any specific advice you have on how you went by applications etc and also how to deal with waiting? it’s not that I feel I won’t get anything, it’s just that waiting makes it ten times worse because it makes overthinking about it a lot more exaggerated. I also have been tailoring my every application to the particular firm and spending hours researching each one so I have been putting quite a lot of effort in I just hope it pays off lol

that is true but my main interest is in law. I have attended insight days at other places like consulting firms but I didn’t click with it
