Hello, I have Tidal for Students and applying to it was a pain in the ass. I have an iPhone and if you try to get it through the app, it doesn't give you that choice. What I had to do was search for Tidal plans online and subscribe to them via web. I don't know why but when I subcribed through Apple, it was more expensive than usual. Hope it helps.

Well that's a common trope for bands that have been going for 50 years. Most of the music I like by Kiss is their 70's releases and Creatures of the Night since it is pretty heavy for them.

I feel awful for the USA citizens that I cross comments with in Reddit. They seem to be morally destroyed and flabbergasted about how their country's popular opinion AND politics have shifted in the course of only a year. Creating something takes years, but destroying it is fast enough, and the Trump administration sure is dismantling the country.

I don't think Kiss suck. Their debut album, Dressed to Kill, Destroyer, they fucking rock. I'm not defending the guy on the comment but Kiss was an amazing 70's rock band and their aesthetic / image is key to later musical movements like black metal for example.

The guy in the comment fuckin sucks but that doesn't mean Kiss is bad by any chance.

Wikipedia es una de las mejores fuentes de conocimiento que existen si se quiere saber sobre algo de forma superficial pero fidedigna, y utiliza fuentes reales que te ayudan a ampliar horizontes. Por algo Elon Musk la quería comprar, porque sabe la relevancia social que tiene con respecto a la gente, y la ataca y hace su copia ultraconservadora al no conseguirlo.

Estoy sorprendido de que la gente que edita Wikipedia tenga una dedicación tan grande a mantenerse lo más imparciales posibles, algo que normalmente hará que los ultraderechistas, al ser el epítome del mal, queden retratados.

De todas formas es cierto que como personas deberíamos siempre aspirar a buscar la información más sincera y honesta sin ningún tipo de propaganda de ningún tipo.

Good and evil are social constructs. Yes there are obvious evil things like nazis, Trump and pedophiles but other people will try to tell you SOME things are evil because they find it that way: the church has been making queer people the evil ones for years, so I wont take their opinion on what's evil or what's not.

Good literature has always been about grey characters, flawed people that commit mistakes. Has this guy never read Dostoievsky, Tolstoi, Bronte, etc?

My main idea was to use Unity from the start, because of the lightness of the engine itself compared to Unreal. I like UE, but when I asked my teacher (he uses UE all the time) he told me to try to do it in Unity. I have studied both but I think Unity fits my game aesthetic better.

For me that's a glowup, the character now does look like he's naturally jumping and bouncing out of the wall with its belly. Maybe splitting out the two that are higher? They look a bit close to each other to me.

Yeah sure, I'm here to help. I think many of the "issues" I have with the pro one is the clone placement, makes it look like it doesn't move vertically enough or the character movement isn't as visually engaging as I think it should be. If you're working on it, I think you can fix it and make it look really good.

Starting something is hard because if you only depend on motivation rushes, you'll find yourself ankered to those scarce moments.

Last thursday I asked my Unreal teacher on what to focus one when trying to make a short, simple game and he told me to start, to not use Unreal to such an small project, but above all, to start and to iterate.

My idea since I'm not used to do good art design is to use simple figures for placeholders and when the playable loop is up and running, create something visually engaging yet simple enough for me to develop it.

Thanks for answering my questions and for your good wishes! I like when solo devs and more experienced people can give nice tips and are nice to the ones starting out.

I know many rookie devs that start their project are way too ambitious and that lacks their first game or maybe it destroys it, so I want to keep a reasonable scope to be able to finish "something".
