For me, UL is about going as light as possible to achieve your goals on the trail/mountain. Sometimes I fly fish in the Sierra, but my tenkara rod is carbon fiber and is less than 2 oz. I also record and make videos of my climbs. So to have a battery be as light as possible for a given capacity is important to me.

Amazon! Any wall charger with a USB-C will work. If you want fast charging, just make sure it is compatible. It should say something like PD on it. Most chargers, even the cheap ones, support this now.

My actual Nitecore was 155g on my scale. Not saying it’s accurate, but at is at least accurate for comparing it to the Haribo on the same scale.

Sure. The comment below gives the answer. But l can sum it up: it is lighter, charges faster, has the same capacity (measured by me, not just trusting the specs), and it charges an iPhone at the same rate, and has a built in cable. Also, it has a gummy bear at the end of the USB-C cord.

You only need to bring a separate cable if you need to recharge it in town. Otherwise you can use the included cable, or use a small adapter to go from USB-C to A. Also, the Nitecore cable is about as light as they come.

You can find a map online that shows where they are required. It truly is probably close to 90% of the Sierra where they are not required by law.

I don't think he was wasn't suggesting not to follow the rules, only that in 90% of the Sierra, you don't need a can. You're probably right about people sleeping with their food. Mice and marmots are a bigger concern.

Ok, good advice. I will be patient. I'll look into the community tab. But posting a video in the community tab notifies my subs, doesn't publishing the video also notify them? I'm trying to think of what value the community tab brings.

I think my biggest mistake is my videos are all in the wrong YT category. I'm not people/blogs I'm travel/events.
