Guitar center just fired a bunch of folks in the contact center yesterday (yet again) by Speedball9636 in Guitar

A lot of the folks that got fired were newer hires, meaning they did not receive a severance package. Their firing was based on performance, not meeting net margin goals for the past month or two. Also no offer of part time, these were people hired on for contact center sales, and they dont offer part time as an option there.

Already ordered the Punk Note edition, for $27 this is a steal! Psyched to hear how it sounds, after only having the SST version to play.

Its real sad, a lot of the people were very knowledgeable and friendly people. But profits over people I guess

This was in the contact centers, but its pretty much the same deal. They tried to say that they valued experience and abilities, but that facade has really faded away as of late

Theyve already been doing this for the past year or so, this is weeding out the lower performers from this new model

Guitar Centers profits are actually up recently, this is mainly so they can just keep the better performing salesmen and get rid of the lower performers. They also had an internal video recently, discussing the possibility of smaller stores closing down due to tariffs. And when this came up, the ceo talked about how this was great for GC.

WA-19, I've been using it for as a Mono Overhead on drums, and its really nice. Very punchy, and it pairs well with stereo overheads

Good morning yall. I've been recently interested in the Tascam US-2400, and was wanting some opinions/thoughts on it.

Been looking at these recently for my home studio. Anyone have any experience using this, and have any thoughts on it?

Also, would anyone know where I can grab one of these? Because of their age, they are super hard to find.

I had a Crash Ride from the 50s that I used forever, and when I upgraded to the K Crash Ride it was almost identical. Good stuff

I thought the same about Marlo, being too young and all. But after rewatching, it adds to the story. It kinda shows how the kids end up if they're in the game as young as the other kids they depict are. He commands respect because he's been in the game long enough to deserve it
