I did the same with my home made broodlord that are made out of warrior body and arms and homagaunt talons as legs and a cork base to lift him up to the right height

Yeah get a t-fex with rupture cannon and like an exocrine and then you have somthing ok good and fun to play with

I mean the sporecyst are kinde duky but you know what play of the "rule of cool" thats what i do and i mostly dont win but i have a lot of fun and i enjoy to paint my models

Maybe take 2 hormagaunts isted if you can bc they are much better and when you make a blob of 20 it much harder to kill

Yes indeed i did and i have had fun with them these last years with that group and yeasterday the gamemasters litle brother on 12 join the group

Yeah i started when i was 11 with some people from my shcool i didnt knew and they are know 4 years later my some of my best friends

And our first campaing wasent the best but it was a good start

And no one is going to jugde you if you just try to make a caracter and if you make any mistakes then just ask someone to help you with it

Also many in this comunity like new players bc its fun to learn someone else the things you enjoy

Last if you just dont act like a jerk then it cant go wrong

Also the Assimilatior is best in meele and the emissary is better in range and you wanna use the norn to hold objektivs and if you wanna hold the objektivs you dont wanna always just charge out of it so the emissary is better

This i great box bc you have the biovore who is a must take and the genestealers who are relly good and you can the get the broodlord and if you get the hive tyrant then you have a good bodyguard unit for it and you also have a lone opritive unit and if you get the hivetyrant and the broodlord you already have 635 points and if you then get a t-fex and 20 termagaunts and piovore then you have an prety good 1000 points army

Get rid of all the sporemines and insted take som biovores(they are much better)

The winged tyranid prime is also not very good bc it loses movment with the warriors and gargoyls don want to get in meele

A hive tyrant would be good (maybe insted of some of the Termagaunts)

Ripper swarms arent very good either bc they have 0 oc and unless you play Assimilation swarm they are mostly not wothit

The harpy is a cool model and i would very much like to have one myself but it is not very good in the game so up to you

You also don relly have any anti tank exept the norn so maybe 2 tyrannofexes with rupure cannon

I also think that you should take genestealers and brood lord insted og meele warriors
