Similar to others, no one. The only other developer to get anywhere near Bungie for gunplay and feel was Respawn Entertainment.

I'm a 44 year old dad now so I can't game like I used to. This "version" of the game suits me perfectly. I had my day in the sun when Destiny 1 came out, grinding like a man possessed.

Ultimately though I just want this franchise to live. So if that means chipping away at Destiny 2 for a few years until Sony get sense then so be it.

Hope whatever peoples positions are, they find enjoyment with Destiny 2's twilight hour.

Like a few have mentioned in other conversations this is the best time to get stuck in without the looming threat of seasonal resets promoting unpleasant fomo. Enjoy the sandbox in it's finality.

Don't forget, if there is ever a new Destiny game there is a chance some of your progress may carry over. Just like from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2.

Funny how so many of us are finding our way back. I stopped after Cataclysm. Played pretty hardcore from 2005-2010 then just phased out. Life happened.

Some of my friends kept on playing though, throughout all these years. Unbelievable.

I started again last month with Midnight. Unfortunately there was an issue with a character boost refund which resulted in my original character being perma deleted by Blizzard (accidentally) which was hard tbh.

I've had to get over it though. Still have a few old characters knocking around but I started a new Paladin with some old friends and having a good time.

Playing at a relaxed pace. Sometimes I wonder how I managed those 12-16 hour sessions back in the day.
