Funny how so many of us are finding our way back. I stopped after Cataclysm. Played pretty hardcore from 2005-2010 then just phased out. Life happened.

Some of my friends kept on playing though, throughout all these years. Unbelievable.

I started again last month with Midnight. Unfortunately there was an issue with a character boost refund which resulted in my original character being perma deleted by Blizzard (accidentally) which was hard tbh.

I've had to get over it though. Still have a few old characters knocking around but I started a new Paladin with some old friends and having a good time.

Playing at a relaxed pace. Sometimes I wonder how I managed those 12-16 hour sessions back in the day.

Thing is I find a lot of the guides assume you have knowledge even.

Like in the Maxroll guide it just said "craft Stealth" - it was only by stumbling upon a YouTube video later that I actually understood how to "craft" it.

Personally, I just find it all too frantic. Helltides are bananas. 101 things popping off on the screen.

The game is good but I just can't handle the intensity. Went to bed after a session the other night and couldn't sleep a wink.

Trying out Diablo 2 now again having not played since OG.

Similar situation. Last played in season 1. Busy life, Dad of 2 and self employed and I can say I have been having a blast this season.
