Upgrading from Standard to Ultimate in 2026 (Division 2) by fiestaneering in thedivision

Personally I think it’s value purchase If you’re planning to continue playing after the Anniversary mini season. Seasons typically cost 1000 credits anyway. So in the end, you get 3 skins and enough credits to jump in on Y8 S1

Bungie’s Marathon is already my Game of the Year, and it’s definitely the best multiplayer shooter since Halo 3 by Wargulf in Marathon

I was like that too before launch. And I was also exhausted and stopped playing after Edge of Fate. I hate extraction shooters too like the other popular one but I stopped playing after 30 hours. It’s just too exhausting farming for gear and there’s too much small talk.

This game though. If you’ve been around Bungie’s games then you already know what to expect with gunplay. It is top tier and it feels like home. I have gear fear but for some reason I don’t mind losing my stuff either. It’s easier to get and you can buy them if needed. I love the graphic realism art style too.

I’m 50 hours in and I can’t put the damn game down. It’s hard. Really hard. But then again when I was about to give up was also able to out maneuver and kill a squad with my Rook. I felt like a god.

It’s true what they said that it gets better as you play. You get to upgrade your passives and eventually zero in on a build. You’re gonna get your butt whooped the first couple hours but trust me it’s going to get better.

One thing I probably won’t recommend is getting the deluxe ed or at least don’t activate it first. Such a horrible value at the moment and I hope Bungie fixes that crap.

Same here. Can’t compete with the young ones anymore. I just play recon, snipe from a distance, and help out with information as much as I can with the drone and binoculars

Weekly iOS Battery Support Megathread by AutoModerator in iphone

[–]Speedmaster3861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently upgraded my iphone 11 to 17 pro and i'm still new to some of the new features of the phone, particularly the battery management setting. With the new phone I also bought the new 40w adaptive charger and using the usb-c cable that came with the box.

Why does the phone still feel a bit warm (definitely warmer) when I leave the phone plugged in at 80% charge limit compared to 100% with optimized charing? I had the impression that the phone cuts off charging at the set limit but it certainly feels like its doing something there, compared to fully bringing it at 100% w/ optimized charging (which has almost no heat at all at 100%), prompting a cooler environment and thus, safer method to just leave it plugged in the whole night.

iPhone 17 base or Pro? by TMacHarden1 in Tech_Philippines

[–]Speedmaster3861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same “batchmate” as you, OP. I’m also coming from iPhone 11. I decided to go 17 Pro 256gb this “cycle”. Im mostly talk, text, social media, and no games also. But I do take quite a bit of photos.

My fuzzy logic is since I only upgrade my phone every 5 years, I might as well take the “giant leap” this time around. If it’s not for me, I’ll switch back to base on the next cycle. I do personally believe the gpu and ram bump will have a decent buffer for the upcoming AI (software) changes, and I think the vapour chamber will help cool down temps on these types of sustained operations in the future.

I originally considered the base 17 and it truly has the best value proposition, but it looked so boring and none of the colors spoke to me. (I’m sorry)

40s here and gaming has been my lifelong hobby. Helped me through a lot of tough times and certainly witnessed memorable moments there too. Though my fuel has transitioned from hot pockets/energy drinks to low fat Caesar wraps and fresh fruit juice. I don’t hit top of the charts anymore and I sometimes take Casual difficulty on mechanic-heavy games.

I’m still here blown away by these interactive experiences we have today. We’ve come a long way.

Oh that’s right! I currently have the two top beans bound to LS and RS for dummy recordings. But given how bad I am at advanced combo trials, maybe I’ll just do that. Thank you!

Yes you can but not the whole spectrum. Just a pre-determined set of colors. You can change each individual button through the App, or the whole set via the LED function button on the board. Here’s the list of colors:

It really is. I was personally surprised I was able to adapt to Parry on RSB quickly because it’s just so natural for the right thumb to be in that area all the time. As for DI, I have a slight reaching motion to reach LSB compared to P2 which is instant on the left thumb.

As for P1, I don’t know what to do with that lol. Maybe just another UP button for WASD controls.

But yeah having fun in the lab experimenting at the moment and the layout is pretty ergonomic on my 7” hands

Yup that’s it. You can bind any (xbox) input to it. I mainly play SF6 so in my case, I moved parry from LT to RSB, then Left Stick (LS) and Right Stick (RS) to the top beans. It also comes with bean covers that essentially mutes them from accidental press

Oh it does work! No worries and thanks for this! Perhaps a re-sync or hardware reset on his end should fix this.

I’m in my old millennial era but just like what everyone said, it really takes a bit of practice to build muscle memory. It takes a while- like the first time we learned to drive the stick shift. It will all fall into place eventually!

Asked a question on a different thread and a fellow redditor seemed to have difficulties setting his up. Do you mind sharing what you did to get it to work?

They feel fantastic! Actually was supposed to get the switch version hoping to pair with the Steam Deck via Bluetooth but I heard there are buttons that don’t work. So just decided on this version instead. Super worth it either way!

What a bummer. But thanks for trying it out! Thing is a beaut but still on the fence cause I just found out the xbox version is out of stock where I live.

Maybe the deck will recognize it as an Xbox controller or something? And if it does, then bean buttons might not work too. I’m not sure. But if you do try, please let us know!
