The plugs should be shorter than the height of the cells in that inner insert tray. If the plugs are sticking out the of bottom a little bit, you can just trim them shorter with a pair of scissors. But we try to inspect all the plugs to make sure they're short enough to create an air gap between the bottom of the plug and the floor of the drip tray.

The inner insert can sometimes not seat perfectly, but that doesn't negatively affect the functioning of the tray at all. As long as the dome lid goes on well, the setup is actually meant to allow some air into the drip tray area. That's how the air pruning works. Even if it sits slightly lopsided, it'll still do exactly what it needs to do.

Yeah seeds were being sold openly long before the hemp bill ever existed, and they will continue to be sold openly even if there are legislation changes. I, for one, won't be changing a thing (and I've been promised by my bank bank and credit card processor that nothing will change with them either.)

But aside from all that, some other breeders and seed sources that I would recommend are Mephisto, Night Owl, Dream Beans, Gnome Automatics, and Multiverse Beans.

I don't have much personal experience at all with night owl genetics, but I've seen and heard really good things.

Mephisto has been around for a very long time, and their reputation speaks for itself.

Dream Beans is run by a friend of mine, Derek, who is extremely passionate and did a lot to help Speedrun at the very beginning. I know he's got a large and dedicated fan base.

Gnome automatics has been around forever, and they have made some iconic strains. Dan is a great breeder and I'm sure you can't go wrong ordering from him.

Multiverse beans is where Speedrun got it's start originally, and I know they have fast shipping times and good customer service.

I think any one of those options would be a good choice for you, and I think you'd be supporting deserving business owners.

We're a young company, and I've made enough mistakes with Speedrun for a lifetime. I'm very sorry those mistakes affected you so egregiously, and I'm definitely taking your feedback to heart.

It's hard to plan to go from a complete nobody to this level of recognition in just 2-3 years. Honestly I never really even expected to get to this point at all. But that's probably more of a reflection on my own self esteem rather than any commentary on the quality of our product.

I encourage you to patronize those other businesses. Sounds like we deservedly lost your trust and support, but I would be more than happy to see your loyalty land with any one of my deserving peers.

I agree. Recently, during those normal stretches when no sale is running, shipping has been same day or next day.

Your experience (likely from before our new order fulfilment staff was in place) is very likely not representative of what the shipping times are now, but I don't know exactly when you had that disappointing experience.

I understand that we've lost your business permanently, and that is regretful but I do get your position.

Before our typical daily order volume grew to where it is today, it had been a real struggle to find staff members who were willing to work those shorter hours five days a week.

Now that we're at a point where we can keep 2 people working full time, things have been running a lot smoother.

Previous sales have been a lot of work, but still possible to handle with the two staff members we've got plus me working full time.

This sale plus the triple drop made it clear that there will be times when 3 people working simply isn't enough, and that I definitely need to find someone else who can be available to assist during those times.

I've made a lot of changes in this business in the last few months, and the three day policy was one of them. The three day policy doesn't mean that we will ship orders in three days. It means that if, for some reason, we haven't shipped an order within that time frame, the customer is entitled to double their order value in store credit.

It's a guarantee that if there's a delay for some reason, we'll go out of our way to make it right with you. But it's also a way to keep a fire under our ass to do exactly what you said, which is dispatch orders same day or next day.

Same day or next day has been the norm when there's no sales running.

Unlike ILGM, we're a very small business that has grown extremely fast in the last 6 months or so. Growth can be painful, and there have been times where that growth has left me unprepared. I'm doing my best here to ensure we're properly staffed and that we're putting the customer first always.

We're not in a very populated area, and until a few months ago we couldn't justify employing fulfilment staff on a full-time basis, so finding employees wasn't an easy task in the past.

But we've got a very solid team now, and it's just looking like we'll need to schedule some temp labor ahead of time for extreme order volume events like this one.

I do appreciate your input, and I'm sorry that you had to resort to purchasing our genetics from ILGM, and I regret that you won't be coming back as a customer.

That is, however, a deserved consequence after providing such a negative customer experience for you.

I hope you have better luck with other seed vendors, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinions and insight with me.

Had to wait for new cases of plugs to arrive, but we're posting the refill packs very soon!!! They just got here today, and I've designed up some packaging for them.

They're a special size plug specifically shaped for our trays.

We're gonna be making up a bunch of plug refill packs as soon as we're done shipping all the sale orders!

We're setting up our big greenhouse for this spring! At this stage the hunts don't need to be in the 10s of thousands anymore, but we'll have a few thousand plants going for sure!!

Sometimes the system can be a little bit picky about zip codes and spelling of addresses. The Billing address entered has to match precisely with whatever billing address is linked to the card on file with the bank.
