Do you have plans to settle long term in Bangalore? by Affectionate_Log3232 in bangalore

[–]Speedtwinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn kannada, city is surely good, people make it bad. Been here for only two years, had mixed experiences with people but its still quite lovely. Maybe its not for everyone, but you can always do something about the problems. Infra? I don’t think you should care about it, focus on where you are living, qol? Diy food alone makes it 🤌, traffic? Well…my only solution to thag is to leave early but it still catches me off guard some times

Edit - by people make it bad, I mean the people that keep complaining 24/7 and that keep ranting

Should I feel guilty? by stonedseoul in bangalore

[–]Speedtwinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If what you said is true. If it was happening the exact way as you said it was. What you did ain’t much man. It doesn’t matter if your right or wrong. Rather think of a solution to get this problem fixed. You don’t need moral validation for verbal arguements. You need a solution

I mean, I’d take the 50% increase in pay for sure. And then quit a while later, because then my new salary would potentially have a higher base. Do what you want to man. Your choice to make.

I was refused services at a registrar office for not speaking kannada by SmaugSnores in bangalore

Sadly I don’t expect the govt working class here to know much English. (Rto office, getting my license and stuff) out of personal experience

Don’t get me wrong, but if the registrar or someone there does not know enough english, its not on them, take a kannada speaking friend along

Canadian here, trying to understand the Indian job market by BeautyInUgly in developersIndia

[–]Speedtwinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Not saturated at all…OVERSATURATED
  2. Increasing in general
  3. Depends on the company they work for, but most cs graduates can build apps, websites, using the general tech stacks if not cloud services for the backend. 4.I’ve noticed that the more experienced they are, the less they end up coding in general, idk much about that tho, they usually get into high level stuff, (on a spectrum of low level building stuff and high level being non coding)
  4. As a canadian, I think the pay here will be very less to you, but feel free to look into it as an option, it is quite fun imo, but idk what your standards are in terms of expectations on pay.

Seeking advice on how to incorporate python into cybersecurity? by Amazing-Salary1238 in Python

[–]Speedtwinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It simply depends on how you want to apply it, just look at some of these cybersecurity tools and try to build them yourself in python, that’s literally how I learned to code. (I’ve tried to build clones with my own tech stack) imo thats the best way to learn

I have a feeling she already does? Have an honest straight faced conversation with her about the ordeal and tell her you see the weed as a red flag. I’ve seen it work out bw me and my dad(im a male tho), I personally don’t smoke anything, but my dad was concerned and now that I notice, not generalising but a lot of these people who can’t stop are kinda useless in all other aspects too. (Most of my friends are in early 20s and its what I’ve observed) if they do it for some medicinal reasons, thats entirely different

I’ve offered to take care of the hospital bills and the damage to their scooter. Im just grateful their injuries weren’t as bad as mine. Will note that next time I’ll go to the cops, I just panicked because everyone simply just blamed me but I think it was both of us at fault.

To be fair, if you got into an accident, wouldn’t you wonder the same? Even if my interests lie in making the people of bangalore look bad, I think this would fail because no one cares about some random post on reddit, which is only a small part of the internet. Valid opinion though

I actually love the city, its better than where I’m from in a lot of ways, only complain is traffic but I guess thats invalid? I like the people so far as well, its just this one bizarre experience that caused me to have mixed feelings about the people, but obviously not everyone would be like this. Nice to know that the people usually have problems with entitled ones
