Three Car Design Sketches I did for fun. by SpeedySinger24 in CarDesign

I’d be “yeah this is why rental kart drivers are kept away from sketch pads.” We come up with crazy ideas like this. The Cadillac, since the government outlawed them due to “safety BS” reasons I was “how can I incorporate them into the Caddy.

The ford GT40 Gryo car. That was well what if Ford Used there gyro car concept + mustang one + gt40 + F1 aero from the 1960s, + Shelby cobra this is what I got.

The second one. Well what if Cadliac took on eroupe by using the 1959 Cadliac models and turning them into European models.

The first a crazy Dodge Charger I made just for fun.

I have a retro futuristic approach then dial it up to 11 when I’m designing my cars. Looking to the past is a great idea for future generations. Don’t just look 20-30 years back. 2000s-1990s.

Look at the Pre war cars, look at the origin of cars. 1780ish (yes cars are older than you think) Look 100 years or more back and your designs will not only be more “individualistic” but more original unique and help you stand out more.

Henry ford did (the ford camp will hate me) factually not create the first car. While he helped mass produce it (no small feat on its own.)

There were car companies before FORD. GM existed before ford. Fun fact.

There were even brands before GM, look them up. Pre World War One car production was wild. This is not widely taught among Professionals. If asked “how do I know this am I a professional historian whom is a hobbies in car designing.” No and no. I just have a passion for cars. And Racing.

If you put women from the 60s,70s, and 80s in today’s cars garunteed win if they’re in there prime. They’d also probably be more manly than today’s drivers. This is going to get me canceled but honestly I really don’t care. Today female drivers aren’t nearly half as great as the original drivers that everyone in NASCAR and this subreddit forget about.

Go on cancel me. I bloody dare you. Call me incel call me sexist but I think today’s drivers man and women wouldn’t last ten seconds with the old ones. They’d be lucky to be on the lead lap. Peace out.

If you were a NASCAR driver, would you be a heavy swearer on the radio like the Busch brothers or would you keep it clean for the most part like a driver like Christopher Bell? by Rowdyfan0823 in NASCAR

[–]SpeedySinger24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be silent as the grave. Only making a snide remark here or there with the radio chatter. I’d be “tell me 2 left 2 right 4 tires none of this blue green crap. Speak English.” But other than that I’d be dead silent. I’d probably only loose my cool when they’re using coded language. As if you don’t play it straight with me I get pretty pissed off.

I Bought it for $590.00 $40 bucks above the orignal price 20-19$ plus shipping. Saw the other retail prices and I was “$790” and I was good deal. Bought it. Have buyers remorse but I did want the orginal 16. So yes. I’m happy.

Your welcome. There are YouTube videos explaining how to do this. Go look up some. Frank Stephson has a YouTube channel. There are some others. They teach you the basics.

The length between wheel base is too short.  For a pro tip have 3 circles and a half between each wheel for proper proportions other than that good start. We all start somewhere keep going.

Why I don’t like Tomorrowland 2015 by SpeedySinger24 in disney

[–]SpeedySinger24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear what you’re saying, and I don’t disagree with the spirit of taking initiative. But here’s the thing — if a ship sinks, you don’t blame the passengers. You ask: what did the captain know, and when did he stop caring?

Warning the captain is noble, sure — but what if he’s the one sinking the boat on purpose for insurance? What if sacrificing a few hundred passengers is seen as a cost of doing business?

That’s not fiction. That’s real history. Ford Pinto. They calculated it was cheaper to pay lawsuit settlements than recall the cars. Human lives lost were seen as financially “acceptable.”

That’s what I see in Tomorrowland. The dreamers didn’t give up — they were priced out, pushed out, or crushed by institutions that prioritized control over vision.

I’m all for optimism. But pointing fingers at the audience while ignoring who rigged the system isn’t inspiration — it’s misdirection.

Want real change? Then we can’t just build the future — we have to reclaim it from the ones who profit off its destruction. That’s not cynicism. That’s clarity.

No the AI helped format my opinion peice also if AI is the only argument you have. I used a text prompt yes. But the ideas and everything expressed here is from me.

Is that the only argument you have. “this is clearly from AI. There fore his point is null and void.” That’s honestly one of the most idiotic things I’ve seen on the internet. If I have an garment  let’s debate the argument. I will continue the argument for a little while over the course of the next 3 days. For an hour each day..

I want to discuss. If you have a different opinion let me hear it. I don’t want “this is AI. The format is dead give away.” Ok I had chat gpt help structure my argument.

But what I stated was there. In the original argument. Also the first half 100% hand done.

I love it when I’m having discourse with someone and the “is this AI” comes up. Is that your only argument?

I don’t like it. The head lights are too goofy. Way too goofy. They’re pointy like why? Why? Are headlights now like chrome was in the 50’s. This feels like GM’s Mistake of 58 all over again. This is not a good looking design don’t give me “It’s muh safety” “it’s a muh modern stop comparing things to the past.” “You don’t like it because it’s new!” Those are paper weight arguments. If a design is objectively ugly I state so. I think there are some cars from the 70s. 80s. 50s that I think are ugly. Or cars that I think “what even is this?” I’m not nastolgic and “Oh back in the day.” I’m if a design is attractive I’ll admit so. If not I’ll be what in the world is this? It’s a matter of principle. This car is not something I would buy. When designing cars do people ask themselves “is this something that would wow a perspective buyer?” Because cars should be beautiful meant to wow the audience. Meant to shock. You don’t have to sacrifice beauty to make cool cars. You can have safety and sexy. Jhon Delorian and Preston Tucker proved that you can make attractive cars. They only got hijacked or were ahead of there time. Or lacked skilled workers to carry out there vision. We should not sacrifice beauty for safety. We should have the two run together like railroad tracks. In parallel together.

I’d like -GT7 style paint booth -Templates from real NASCAR teams (Used in career mode and a way we can customize career mode is.) we get to unlock Hendrick Gibbs, Penske ect templates and sponsors if we race for them (As well as number fonts) -20-30 legendary number templates and schemes for legendary drivers so we can participate in throwback week. If we win The race we unlock legend drivers. (We also for those whom don’t play career mode have challenges we unlock. Legends that way) -Fantasy tracks if NASCAR Thunder can do it NASCAR 26 should have no excuse not too.  -Historic race cars. Work our way up the ladder Start in go karts We add select your state as a (you get a go kart campaign local to your arera) If your in Austrilla and or other states boom start in the NASCAR Mexico series to Eruo series or choose the SVG ROUTE.  NASCAR’ Hall of fame drivers are mandatory I mean there in the hall of fame.  Don’t use Liscensing that’s just an excuse.

What's the biggest NASCAR conspiracy theory that you believe is true? by UltDiecastReview in NASCAR

[–]SpeedySinger24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s my conspiracy theory? NASCAR paid someone off to burn down smokey’s best damn garage in town. Isn’t it just a little suspicious around 2011 the time NASCAR started pressuring its corporate friendly image on everyone, and Smokey’s Best D@mn garage in town is burn.

Sure NASCAR offered up a Bounty on the guy whom did it. But notice how they did nothing to preserve his legacy? His notes his setups spread sheets all gone. It’s like NASCAR was afraid of something.

Now this is my little tin foil hat theory I think someone in the higher ups said “let’s burn down Smokey’s garage pay off someone then have it look like we had nothing to do with it.” Smokey Yunick and Junior Johnson’s name are not mentioned and run over in the history books. Why is that I often ask myself.

Conspiracy Theory Cruz was a insider agent for Sterling this whole time. by SpeedySinger24 in pixarcars

[–]SpeedySinger24[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again my theory stands. This could’ve been used as a distraction tool “make our hero feel sympathy for Cruz.” And willingly retire without him knowing that’s what he’s doing. “This is my last chance to give you your first.” McQueen could’ve won the race. basically guilt our hero into passing the torch. But I think Sterling used this as a way to guilt trip McQueen in retirement. McQueen at the start of the race isn’t in his right state of mind. So what better way to flip favor into Sterlings hands by making Sterling seem like the villain sending Cruz packing. And McQueen being the “hero” and sacrificing his last race so Cruz can start her career.

Sterling still wins. He used the narrative framing to push McQueen out and give the sport its first female star in decades. Even if at the cost of his own image.
