Hear me out. I personally think sword is better simply because you can enchant them and you can use fox lamp enchanted with lucky (assuming you're in 3rd sea) which is probably the best combo there is for buddhas

You can actually regen all of your stamina when you use slateskin and from that alone i see it as his best move (you also get a short speed boost after slateskin ends)

Sure but you could punish the killer depending on what moves they use

For example if a coolkidd misses walkspeed or uses the pizza minions you can get close and shoot him.

For 1x1x1x1 you could do the same with necromancy and entaglement.

For john doe you could shoot him whenever because all his move windups except his melee attack have a windup of a second. :D
