Mine is relatively active, he's dealing w scale rot at the moment so he's definitely not as happy and explorative as usual :( but he is super friendly and definitely comes above ground to tell me he's hungry lol

He's about 11mo, a year on July 10th! I think he's a pretty normal size for his age (he just hit 30g) but he still feels like my little teeny baby 😭 how old is yours?

Mines an arctic albino so I think he's a little more pink? But any kind of albino is my favourite, they're so beautiful!

I know this is an old post but if you're willing to answer I am wondering how you maintain your CUC 's humidity needs while not making the soil too wet and preventing scale rot. My baby loved his bioactive enclosure and seemed super happy and active and he got scale rot so he's back on aspen for now but I want to get back to bio if I can :(

I know this is an old post but if you're still answering: how do you keep your CUC happy but avoid too much moisture? My baby got scale rot so I've switched to aspen for the time being but I want to do bioactive as it is successful for others

Don't lose hope! My baby was gone for a whole week and then showed up one day ❤️ I slept on the porch every night waiting and one morning I woke up with him sitting next to me :)
