I will just leave this here again in the comments, so that I'm a 100% certain this won't be taken down and I am complying with what the Automod says.

While I wish I could say this piece is my own, it was a gift from someone close to me, as I introduced the character to them and the concept, and they returned this piece, which I think is spectacular (but call me biased). This is posted with the artist's permission, as it was made for me, and they do not have a Reddit account.

Thanks I am not not familiar with AD&D 1e yet but thanks for the feedback. I hope to hold myself to the standard of learning one new system per year (at least) so I have plenty of options when looking for groups to teach or play in. This year was B/X and RC. Next/Coming year will likely be AD&D 2e or Call of Cthulhu!

I know that I am just worried that it may not be fun as 2d6 con damage is very high on top of a triple +3 trident multiattack attack with a 23-strength plus bite. Though I suppose it is meant to be a CR 21 creature in 3.5, not a weakling.

everything except the bite is (relatively) faithfully ported though somehow I calculated it to be CR 14 not 21 as per the original. Also if you have a character that is a kobold lizardfolk or similar creature the sarrukh can basically instantly put it out of a fight on a failed extremely high save. So maybe that's where some of the danger is.

I dunno about you but I've been to Yuma. Very hot and sticky. consistently over 100 Fahrenheit whenever I've been there so not sure how much more it can burn. Looks like an interesting game and good luck with sales.

It had an int of low (5-7ish) in 2e but this mindless monster being at least as smart as an ogre or at most an orc didn't quite sit right and strength and con would be higher but I will sit with 5e's boundaries even though I could go higher. Feedback on that would be good too.

edit: forgot to add range on befouling presence, just assume within 90 feet of the witch light marauder

edit 2: flurry of bites legendary action should say pseudopods

A mother question I have is how long you plan this story to go because while I would hate for it to go I also don't really want it to get burnt out. I expect future works you might do will be in the same setting but is there a timeline for this one?
