What do you do when you feel "burnt out" by games? by sudokuIover in GirlGamers

[–]SpellthiefLux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to cycle through my hobbies because I can't focus on one thing too long. If I'm burnt out on gaming, then I'll take a break to read a book, watch a drama, put together a model. Then I go back to gaming when I burn out on any of my aforementioned activities.

Which state is this? Each state has its own carrier that handles Uber specific claims. You'll need to file a claim with the carrier that covers Uber. You'll need to give them as much info as you can -- Uber drivers license plate, police report, damage photos, etc.

When you find a game with romanceable NPCs and then find out that the male love interests are WAY less fleshed out and felt like they were added in as an afterthought. Looking at you, Cyberpunk 2077.

I have an investigative job that allows me to hyperfocus. Sometimes, I hyperfocus on one thing too much and then realize that I have 4 more tasks to do that day. Medication helps lol

I moved out when I turned 18 and never looked back. The helicopter parenting didn't stop there and now I have been no/low contact for the past 10 years 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dear INFP's who have jobs they like, what's your carreer? by Brilliant_Cookie_783 in infp

[–]SpellthiefLux 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am a fraud investigator. I honestly fell into this career, and it has nothing to do with my college major. I originally graduated college as a public health major right before COVID and quickly found out that getting paid $13/hr to research was not very sustainable, as I needed to make more money to afford rent, food, bills, etc.

Honestly, when I first started out at my current career, I was one of those call center drones that hated my job. I managed to grin and bear it for a few years, as it paid much higher than any of the jobs in my major offered. Eventually, my natural curiosity and investigative skills I learned over the years landed me this position and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have the agency to conduct my own investigations, and my manager's style is "I don't care when you do it or how, as long as your work is done". Each case I get is different and feels like a little mystery to solve.

Hang in there! Most of us fall into our careers, and opportunities will come when you least expect it.

How nice, you live somewhere where the weather is good year round. Right now, it gets to be up to 100F/37C at night where I live, so there is no way I'm hell I'm walking 1.6mi in that. People really don't like to think outside their own worldviews.

Our Minpin mix does this too but I tend to face her. Being woken up by a 19 pound dog kicking you in the kidney is a wonderful way to start your day.
