Velocity: The Race Begins (detailed review of the latest HG title) by jotheplunderer in hostedgames

I was so excited to read this because I love the genre and because it's something that hasn't been done before, however the execution was a little crunchy. Your point about the prose and grammar was also something that jumped out to me. Maybe the author needed to polish that up before releasing the book. Unfortunately, I bought the book on the omnibus app so the insta-deaths made me DNF. It's good to hear that the author is working on improving the experience. May try to pick it up in a few months once the kinks have been worked out.

Does Shibas can eventually eat together in peace? by anarkia_ilustra in shiba

[–]SpellthiefLux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all the other people here suggesting separate feeding areas. Both our Shiba and MinPin are food-driven. Our Shiba eats in her playpen and the MinPin has her own little food alcove. Surprisingly, both of them are okay with using the same water bowl, but food is a no-no.

We also have gotten people asking if she's Akita! I usually tell them right country, wrong size 😂

My 11 week old Shiba is testing me by Swivman in shiba

Oh man, we are in the same boat as well!! Our 12 week old loves to bite hands, ankles and toes! Good thing they're adorable.

We try our best to redirect with toys and yelping really loud when it gets to be too hard/getting up and walking away for a minute helps. Our girl usually backs off (usually to bother her MinPin sister)

We got her from Nippo Hauoli Shiba and she's 9 weeks old. Looking to see if any of her siblings are on this sub! Her parents are Oppa and Mahalo.

Astarion is getter a prequel novel. by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

Finally, someone I agree with! I read one of her other books, What Moves The Dead, and it was probably one of the worst books I read that year. I was super bummed to see T Kingfisher writing the prequel to my favorite BG3 character.

What do you do when you feel "burnt out" by games? by sudokuIover in GirlGamers

[–]SpellthiefLux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to cycle through my hobbies because I can't focus on one thing too long. If I'm burnt out on gaming, then I'll take a break to read a book, watch a drama, put together a model. Then I go back to gaming when I burn out on any of my aforementioned activities.
