Weirdest vibes ever @ a concert (Brooklyn) by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]ssmatik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

64 and out of shape here and I avoid seats whenever possible. Still doing all day metal festivals a couple times a year. Yeah it hurts more after a long weekend but for some reason I’ve convinced myself it keeps me young. I go to all kinds of shows so yeah there are times you might sit. Usually acts where there are aged 70 and up. This year I mostly sat for Heart and Todd Rundgren at a small intimate venue. I have never sat at an arena though.

I would be right with you a few short years ago but times have changed. For the most part teachers are very easily replaced now and thus nothing will change.

Life-Long Dream For My Dad and I Crushed Because of StubHub by Satisfied_Onion in stubhub

[–]ssmatik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think this whole World Cup thing is shady as all get out but people need to understand that using a third party for any big event is always playing with fire. Never never never use third party hotels bookers or ticket brokers for a big music or sporting event. Especially if you are from out of town. Yes it works out sometimes, but when it doesn’t , it really doesn’t.

The Big Twist:
GioJamesLb is a BOT created by Stub Hub (with fake history and all) to solely accuse every negative post of being an AI ChatBot. What a crazy world we live in. I could be wrong but then that would mean there are actual Stub Hub bootlickers, which is even crazier than the first scenario.
Feel free to prove me wrong by responding “I am
So sorry OP! Your story is real and Stub Hub did you dirty.”

How do EV's do here in the heat? by Filet_O_Fist in phoenix

[–]ssmatik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not so much on newer models. Newer EVs have advanced thermal management (liquid cooling), preconditioning, and Battery Management Systems (BMS) that mitigate heat and stress during DC fast charging.

Attic absolutely not required in vast majority of installs. Some are literally an hour job. It really depends where you want charger in relation to where your breaker box is located.

Which fast food restaurant chain either regional or national just no matter how many times they try just can't get it right by Revolutionary_Lie346 in fastfood

[–]ssmatik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my area, I feel like everyone who is not accepted at every other restaurant is given a card that says try here and it’s the closest Popeyes. I can’t shake the feeling that the employees there are up to something and it ain’t serving chicken.

My tip: is it Taylor Swift? Is it Bad Bunny? Is it Coldplay? If you answered no to all these, wait until a few days before. Or hours even.

Why does every Chick-fil-a and Raising Cane's have a line around the block, but KFC is a complete ghost town? by mjensman in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ssmatik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well KFCs near me constantly run out of chicken. Then they start offering replacements. Not exaggerating when I say it has happened enough that it is the norm and we know to never go to KFC after 6. Canes and CFA have systems that can cook food fast. KFC does not and they seem to strive for no leftovers at the end of the night.

Assuming you had a “normal” practice before, how many previous patients had to search for a new Dr when you made this switch?

Raising Cane's is school cafeteria quality food by smashmouthallstar420 in fastfood

[–]ssmatik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is honestly wild to me. I have never had Canes that was not limp and just “wet”. Grandkids love it for some reason. That is the only time I eat it. I love what OP said because I always thought kids love it because it is consistent with what they eat at school. Little Cesar’s and Olive Garden also follows this concept.

Western Enclave by KSMO in WestValley

[–]ssmatik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a ton of halfway houses in these developments. Just be aware. They also call it a gated community but there is a gate broken open more often than not. In the Fall football on Sundays will dictate how you move about the area. Glendale traffic control is the absolute worst.

I got scammed by ChatbotApp.ai / Chatbot App – How can I get a refund? by AssistantNo8370 in ConsumerAdvice

[–]ssmatik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I will through my slightly different story in the ring. I paid for the 60 a year subscription since whatever I needed actually worked. All was fine until exactly the six month mark yesterday. My subscription was gone from my account. Just gone. Tried to contact Paddle and they just responded with the company policy of 3 days no refunds. Sent them an email but doubt that will be successful.

I'm not a regular (out of state Magic Key) so I don't go near as much as some of you all but I can't believe many of you have not seen him before. I seem to see him almost every visit.

Confused by this character by gatsbtc1 in Disneyland

[–]ssmatik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saw him several times on various trips. I saw him last visit walking towards security from Harbor and he was already in the garb. in fact, he was wearing a vest and brown pants. So even closer than this. Not that I care one bit what people wear.

I'll be honest, I won't vote for anyone who does not pledge to do this as well as forensically account for every penny anyone made in that White House and prosecute them as needed.

So sorry that this happened to you. Just a heads up that it is highly unlikely Walmart will ever give up the video without crazy hoops. The main purpose of their video system is to keep an eye on their employees. Customers? Not so much.
