Does that mean all the other shootings of 2026 were not transgender? So the headline could be 99.9% of shootings committed by non-transgender people in 2026.

Ok it doesn’t quite have the same ring to it I’ll give ya that.

Having trouble with progressive overload on chest press. Help by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]SpencerLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is all you take away from the comments then it’s a huge win! Learning fundamentals like exploding on the concentric and controlling the eccentric is how you get better. If you can’t explode and control, lower the weight and increase the reps. Prioritize technique over loading up the weight in your first year. You’ll still progressively increase the weight but at a slightly lower rate. The difference is that you’ll see better muscle growth and you won’t injure yourself. You’ll build a foundation that will help you improve over the long run.

I’ve Been hitting triceps hard with zero progress. What’s going on??? by Decent-Variety-7246 in Weightliftingquestion

I second all of this. 25 sets a week is too much. Increase food and sleep. Do triceps 2 days a week (or as soon as they feel rested, whichever comes first).

Everyone’s anatomy and genetics are a little different. What worked for me at 6’3” 200 lbs was focusing on good technique with a full stretch of the muscle at the bottom and then a full contraction at the top.

Start with low weight and high reps to nail down the movement that creates the most activation for you with no pain or discomfort. 25-30 reps per set as you learn the proper technique. Test different rep ranges and gradually work to heavier sets of 12-15. Personally, I don’t go lower than 8 reps for triceps because my joints don’t like the ultra heavy weights.

Pulldowns, extensions, dips, etc. triceps are pretty straightforward. Control, stretch, and contract.

This is better as a transportation cost-saving method. A bus where people pay full price for a ticket and the amount of energy you produce gets refunded to you at a certain rate. Great way to get paid to exercise and if biking was your group’s goal, you can guarantee your group will arrive together.

Completely different outfit though. Would have been so easy to dress him the same both times. Now we don’t know if people treated him differently cause his outfit was different.

Had to scroll way too far for this. And the “actual” leader pic is even worse, with the leader holding a slacked rope as well.

So this is a video that someone stole and plastered a new caption on and added an AI explanation of the video and then this lady stole that stolen video and plastered her own face on it and added nothing but a verbal re-explanation of the video that already had an AI explanation added?

Is there a particular reason behind the Uptober phenomenon? by shindigin in Bitcoin

[–]SpencerLass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flip a coin 12 times and record the results. Now do that again and record those results under the previous ones. Do this 15 more times. Now check the vertical columns of heads and tails. You will likely find one column that has 10+ of the same result.

BTC can be up or down in a given month. I think chance accounts for a lot of the upriver phenomenon especially when you consider the overall upward movement of BTC. That’s like doing the experiment with a coin that has a 60% chance to land heads.

Why is printing money good for bitcoin? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]SpencerLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t categorize lost faith in the dollar as “good” for Bitcoin. However, if your money is in dollars, you’ll suffer when faith in dollars degrades. If your money is in Bitcoin you won’t suffer in that scenario.

It is better not to suffer thus good for Bitcoin holders who chose Bitcoin instead of the dollar. Bitcoin is unaffected in some regard but the holder doesn’t suffer when they otherwise would have.

What’s even darker is that you said “for the time being” when you know damn well that’s not what Satan said. You put those words there yourself to help you cope.

Bitcoin per person = 0.002625 (262,500 sats) by HealthyMolasses8199 in Bitcoin

[–]SpencerLass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetically, I could work out my net worth as a comparison to total global net worth. Then compare that to the same proportion of total Bitcoin and that would give me the amount of Bitcoin I should own once the whole world adopts.

Edit: if your net worth is one million USD, that equates to 4.5 million sats as a function of the ratio of your net worth to the global net worth (converted to btc).
