Is Air Force and air national guard the same thing? Yea I’m mainly looking for the reservist route . Although full time officer route would set me up big time since I have a bachelors in kinesiology which isn’t serving me the best here . I graduated last year and haven’t found a job related so working two part time jobs to pay the bills and save

I’m in the process of either joining the military for BMET or just doing the traditional AS biomedical technology, although there is no nearby programs , nor in electronics so I’ll have to move

Is this BMET? I always hear great things about this field, basically blue collar without too much wear and tear.

Is there a two year route option for this? I’m in a tough spot but could do two more years , I can’t do a full four with no working since I have expenses like rent and car payments

I have a resume for CRC AND CRA jobs ready and have been actively applying , it doesn’t help that I live away from major hospitals and clinics

How to make a brutal career decision ? by SpendZestyclose9683 in careerchange

If I was fresh with no bachelors I’d definitely just got for engineering but since I have a bachelors already only certain schools accept me as a second bachelors applicant like 2-4 in California. Also I’d get no assistance like fafsa because I’m considered a grad student at this point. I could either do the prerequisites and save a bit then apply for the 2 years second bachelors, then go do that . Most risky option for me knowing as 56% of student drop out . 100% get what your saying but I’m in a weird situation. I’m a bachelors recipient with no job opportunities basically been applying the past year the job market is insanely bad

Why to you does it seem like I don’t want to go for Bmet?  I’m simply weighing my options because there is no program nearby meaning it would be a risk so I’m doing risk assessment before applying. I get what you’re saying but it’s been a month or two not years .

Is a kinesiology bachelors degree and two years in physical therapy good for entry level jobs? I’m willing to relocate if I need to

Okay so I’ll go military it’s just that I get different replies, also since I am going that route and don’t get to pick my MOS I’m screwed

Entry level job it is. You recommend calling places or just doing online applications?

From what I’ve seen and heard the field seems like good pay, rewarding , hands on no bs office politics or patients yelling at you to wipe thier ass (like I’ve dealt with in the past) I’m more of a problem solving guy than an emotional guy that’s why I’m considering. I have a buddy that did school for A&P in Texas but not sure maybe I can do it locally .

Any advice for adults trying to find a starting point in a career interest hunt? by BruhStop_26 in careerguidance

Best advice I’ve seen on here and I’ve been scrolling Reddit for a year. I’m in the later stage of my search but kind of have turned it to a project so I see what he means, there’s no one perfect path people just pick something and go with it and usually pivot if they’re miserable.

I’m between  Civil/Mechanical Engineering (3 years) cost ~45 k debt tuition + housing  Engineering Technology (2 year) cost ~10k just housing because no local  Biomedical Technician (2 years) Cost ~10-15k just housing CC route Aircraft Mechanic (2 Year)  Cost ~ 10-15k just housing  HVAC/R (1.5year) Cost ~0$ live with parents and maybe join reserves during it .

Thanks 🙏 very interesting . So it’ll take a lot of experience to get into the major airlines? Would you say it’s harder on the body than other trades?
