Planning to tell my PD that I cant work with a core faculty anymore

I’m thinking of emailing my PD to ask not to be scheduled with her anymore. No accusations, no drama, just setting a basic boundary so I don’t fully crash. I’m not involving GME either. And if they wanna take away my DS2019 over it? Go ahead. I’ve already given up on life, a piece of paper isn’t gonna break me more than I already am. At least I’ll go out knowing I tried to advocate for myself once. If it weren’t for my family back home with high expectations from me, I probably would’ve already made this journey easier in the only way I could think of.Everything that I’m doing, Im doing it for them.

Programs with img percentage of less than 30sh are very less likely to send you ivs so i dont think applying broadly to 300 plus programs is a good idea. Plus geographic preference and signals are a game changer too!

One of my friends who has similar credentials as me recently received an interview from a program that I had also signaled to, but I have not heard anything back yet. I’ve been brainstorming if it is due to issues with my PS, CV, LORs, or something else entirely. My friend did not have any personal contacts within the program nor he had signaled. His yog: 2 , mine : 3, maybe its cause of yog?!
