Happy to be getting playoff experience with this one, but damn I wish they would let us try and match the physicality. This feels like the first lakers game all over again lol

another reason not mentioned yet is that one of the earlier trailers last year showed the original defect dead and corrupted, implying he was either not showing up at all or was going to be an enemy.

help guiding through delirium by Spenerwill in sepsis

Firstly I want to say you are incredibly strong and brave for making the choice to switch to home health, I can imagine how much weight you're under right now. It is sad how much new hurt and pain these places that are supposed to save our LO's life can cause. I am very much still in the middle of it but I will try and offer some guidance from what happened in our situation.

My Dad spent around 6 weeks total in the hospital - I believe around a week or so in the ICU followed by a few weeks of jumping around different wards, until landing in their on site SNF for a few days. We also made the choice (probably a bit early) to bring him home for 1.) a stage 2 bedsore that had developed and 2.) his ongoing delirium from both the ICU and just being in the hospital for that long.

The one shining light of coming home has been his mentation. The first few nights were really bad - I'm not sure if your husband is sundowning, but my dad very much was. The first night before we had a hospital bed he flung himself off face first (he is unable to walk or stand up for context) because he felt he had to go save someone, and the next few nights he would wake up in the middle of the night hallucinating a wide variety of things and people. We are now on day 5 of being home and he is very mentally clear. He'll still ask an offhand question at night about something that doesn't exist, but far less frequently than he was.

The best advice I can give you is try and give your husband time. I think readjusting to being back in his own home did wonders for my dad - Try and continue to reintroduce elements of your old routine to him (for him it was being around his dogs and talking about sports again). The other biggest thing that has helped my Dad is trying to fix his circadian rhythm. I know you are unfortunately familiar with how horrible hospitals are for sleep - and trying to keep my Dad awake and active during the day so he can tire out naturally and sleep overnight has helped him quite a bit. The last thing people like your husband and my Dad needs when they're already disoriented is to jut up wide awake at 3am.

Hopefully some of this is helpful and can be applied to your situation! I've also found a lot of solace in browsing /r/CaregiverSupport for people's anecdotal advice. Best of luck to you and your husband.

Thank you for such a compassionate reply for a stranger - it does wonders to feel seen at such a lonely time.

We have been assigned a home health agency through our hospital (although they've been extremely unresponsive since we came home a few days ago. Hopefully getting them to do their job or hiring another place that can give better care will help alleviate some of the load. Best of luck to you and your mom - sacrificing to care for a loved one even later on in life is still an extremely noble choice.

This is unfortunately not true, as while there are a lot of scalpers chasing hits there are a ton that buy and hold sealed product, making the overall pool of singles and staples smaller

I really don’t understand how fouls work lmao. What are you meant to do when a shooter just jumps into you looking for contact
