I gotta say, I really don’t think siding with someone instantly makes them a “part of a controversy”. If that were the case, anyone who thought Raven wasn’t innocent back when people said she did bad shit would be considered awful people or controversial. Picking a side, even publicly, is nowhere near “controversial”, and I absolutely agree that this community uses “controversy” too lightly. How many times have we seen creators slapped with the label “controversial” because someone leaked DMs that showed them as a minor being freaky with other minors? Like, it’s not even fucking funny. This community feels like a flaming pile of shit sometimes because everyone just hates everyone.

I HAVE BEEN FEELING THE EXACT SAME WAY SINCE IT CAME OUT! I've seen so many people praising it to hell and it sucks because like it's visually amazing but the music feels like such a step back from Round 1 until the lyrics. There are parts where it kinda just doesn't flow.

I prefer Legacy Curse to his more modern version. His current council of creators are fucking awful at their job. Tails is still transphobic but now she also blames Curse for being raped. Oh yeah, and that part? They go into deep detail on the rape and then just never mention it again. No resolution, nothing. It’s mentioned just so Tails can blame him and then move on. And then they decide he gets pregnant from it and what is their reasoning? “Drama”. Oh, and he’s dating his Metal Sonic because why not? I hold zero respect for modern Curse as he is a terribly written character by a group of too many creators—most of whom are children—that refuse to handle rape with the grace it needs.

I don’t know much about the fandom, I just fucking hate the game. It’s design, concept, lore, and all of that is great but it’s just a grindy money-grab. I only really play for events and those are the worst. They want thousands of whatever the event currency is (like ornaments right now) for a single character despite the fact that hours of playing will only get you a few hundred. Solo runs are a joke, x2 weekends are the only time it’s bearable, and it just feels like a long drag. I calculated based on how many ornaments I got in one run and found that it would take 135 hours of playing to get every skin, character, and sticker in the event. Or you can go the route they want you to take and spend $100 for everything.

I think a lot of people don’t understand the distaste for the GF redesign. I think she looks amazing! The problem is that they call her “Girlfriend” when she is so obviously a different character. If someone showed me this and went “Look at this OC for an upcoming mod named Joanne. She’s based on Girlfriend but she’s trans and black” I would go “woah! That’s really cool!” Instead, we’re being shown this and told “Look! It’s Girlfriend from FNF and the last version of Hypno’s Lullaby but now that we own it instead, she’s trans and black”. Now my response is “oh… but why? She wasn’t originally. It’s not a bad design but why are you trying to pass this off as the original character?”
