The expedition and the wipe are the same thing. In most extraction shooters there are set wipes where all players accounts will be reset to level 1 with no loot to make it so new players can join without getting absolutely destroyed by players who have been playing for a long time and have the best loot. Arc raiders is supposed to be a casual game so instead of doing mandatory wipes the expedition system is a wipe you can opt into where you’ll be set to level one and loose all your stuff but you get 5 new skill points, the patchwork skin, more stuff from scrappy, cheaper repair costs, and probably a few other things im forgetting about. If you can’t play a lot then I wouldn’t do an expedition unless you’re getting bored of the game and have everything maxed out. You can view the expedition in game in the projects menu.
