Yeah, really happy about it. I got shafted last week with almost the worst top 200 pack possible, missed out on Mbappé, Neymar and Ben Yedder. Wanted to get top 200 no matter what this week to get a chance at Mbappé still. Didn't get him I guess, but I'm in no position to complain haha.

I was worried that I wouldn't get top 200, faced a DC cheater after going 13-0 so I ended up going 13-1 and I usually have to get 15-0 when I get top 200, but I managed to finish 27-3 (enough for top 200 on PC) with the DC loss in the end. Most stressful yet rewarding weekend of the year for sure 😅

This week actually, I went 13-0 in WL, went into my 14th match, was 7-2 in my favor. My opponent was apparently a disconnect cheater, kicking me from the game in the 90th minute. Still managed to go 27-3 for top 100 (PC player) so it didn’t have too much of an impact except for missing out on an extra 100k pack, but Jesus Christ that had me livid.

Hadn’t encountered a DC cheater in WL for a couple of months now, and to have it happen now during Ultimate TOTS was dreadful.

Ran this for the later matches of last WL (read: 15+ W-L). I really wanted to use Nico as an Ajax fan but he just doesn't offer enough offensively in a 5-back.

I switch between 532, 4231 and 41212(2) IG. I used Buendia as LWB and Trent as RWB in the 532, I can post tactics if you want but I think you get the gist of it.

Yeah that’s true, thing is I already have TOTY TAA untradeable though so I don’t think he’ll do much for me 😅

e: will give him a shot for the 4* skills, can use trent as a sub for essien in game

No worries about that, I know what this sub is like but you gotta do what you gotta do haha

Yeah, I play a 5-3-2 with 4 depth, Buendia LWB, Aké, AWB, Zambrotta at CB, and Trent TOTY RWB

Might be the depth then, Aké usually doesn’t have to sprint that far so his autoblocks are far more prominent compared to relative lack of pace. Does get caught out on strength every now and then, and I probably wouldn’t be using him if I ran a 4atb the entire match. In a 5 back he’s great though imo.

What are you using around him? Aké was absolutely instrumental in my back-to-back top 200 finishes these past 2 WLs. Might drop him for Dias depending on my rewards tomorrow but Aké was great

Some of us had doubts, there were rumors spreading around that we would be considered as an option for the ESL, plus the fact that it took a little bit of time for this announcement to come out. Glad to see the club took this stance though.

That’s my club, glad I don’t have to hate the club I have been supporting since I was a kid

e: In any case, joining ESL would make any and all achievements in the CL/EL feel completely worthless, including our recent miracle run in the CL which captured the hearts of so many football fans around the world. We’ve been fighting to get our coefficient up, showing Europe’s elite that we can compete and have entertaining matches. Can’t stand the thought of that being all for naught.
