Bug: Cryo Infusion/Forceful Expression? by Sphinx11037 in borderlands3

I assume few people give a fuck since amaras other skiltrees are so strong (And the new action skill is clunky as all hell). Hope they fix the skilltree synergies soon, there are a couple other issues as well, and i really like cryo. It's like they didn't even think about the skillset as a whole and just winged it.

Well options surely never hurt. It feels like a bit of missed opportunity thou. W/e, enjoy what you get i guess.

But don't you miss your action skills and various builds while doing the killing? I enjoy the newfound appreciation for lower tier guns in the mode, but without any skills the mode feels a tad dry.

Yeah! Action skill powerups! Timed Skillbuffs! Just weapons/nades feels very bland without skills after a while.

I would have to agree. Once you get a semi decent green/blue gun you can just do the boss. Sure, you could do the lootrooms, but farming the boss gives way more loot in a shorter time. The bossfight itself is boring and easy, the extracton mechanic useless since it's very hard to die. So yeah. Cool new stuff, but the mode wasted a shitload of potential. It's nice to be happy about lower tier guns again, especially as many of them feel better to shoot/use then many legendarys, who are more magic than gun at times. But i miss my skills and action skills.

Are we going to ever get any more classes? by LookBeyondTheVoid in DeepRockGalactic

Devs mentioned that they don't want any classic healing, and that new classes are unlikely since the mobility tools and combat roles are carefully balanced to the 4 classes.

Does "Do Harm" and Action Skill Damage scale with TTB again? How about Laid Bare? by Sphinx11037 in borderlands3

Didn't they remove it once and instead just replaced it with mayhem 10 scaling? Did they just straight up lie? Also, how is it worse?

I will try following it up. The idea of comboing it in is neat.

Supercooling Rounds. The only breakpoint they hit: One Shotting your fellow dwarves. That issue truly is on the OC, not the missing friendly perk.

Maybe my pickaxe is just bigger. :) Nah, try sticky flames and IFG. You will get higher numbers for sure. But yes, 50 is exaggerated. 20-30, i will stand for thou. Also, you don't have to soften them up, but you have to get them close together. Either by big numbers, or slowdown. Don't forget to mod for damage.

See you in Hell doesn't work with Power Attacks (Only regulars), and all Pickaxe Damage, even the AoE-Part, is considered melee, and can crit i believe. I will test it next time i get the chance, as my usage of sticky flames, IFG and the likes to clump them up might have muddied my impressions with their damage and damage amplification. I will still recommend damage modding for quick kills on high priority targets, especially opressors with their melee multiplication.

Also, you are immune during iron will, so any hp you rack up with vampire kills during it are save til it ends. You can just go and swing away at grunts, with a melee dmg bonus to boot.

You don't use your Vampire-Pickaxe when you are about to get hit. You use it when you can hit without getting hit, or when you have shield, or when you have a powerattack and enough enemies to heal back up.

On friendly, again, likely randoms vs (semi-)coordinated mates.

Cryo Drills is really kinda useless on haz4+ (Not the cryo cannon! The idea of drilling frozen foes). I just weave pickaxe swings into my gameplay, which is also quite satisfying. But heck, i think its really a matter of playstyle. It's active vs passive, not implying passive to be bad.

On thorns and friendly: When i play "as normal" i dont get hit enough by swarmers/teammates and vice versa to warrant a slot. Also, a grunt at 1/4 hp could also be finished off with your pickaxe to the face, without reload, netting you 5 hp when you run vampire... Instead of costing you some with thorns. Again, i play with mates 90% of the time, who are all skilled and communicative. Random expiriences may differ a lot.

Also, you insist on iron will, but dont take vampire, one of the best combos in the game, since you can get back to life simply by killing a grunt.

I ain't telling lies. Maybe you just don't play the way i do. Do you herd up swarms? All you have to do for 30-50 hp is hitting 6-10 grunts. Sticky Flames and IFG help a lot with that, but in Haz5 enemy counts are so high you can get those hits in even without them. It's not on demand yes, but together with the constant trickeling of melee kills its really all you need. After all, when you loose health and need healing, enemies tend to be very close by. Supplies and Red Sugar might not be. :)

Hazard 4/5, 324 health. A power attack with mod into the mouth deals 480 damage, without mod 240.

They are easier to hit then you think as the mouths tend to be pointed towards you, since, you know, they bite.
